Hole Drilling Capabilities
Not many machining specialists can perform deep hole drilling like J & A
Tool. The precision and speed of our gundrilling, basework, and bolt hole
drilling services is guaranteed by manning our rigid machines with solid tooling and expert
craftsmen. When your deep holes require diametric precision and fast turnaround,
give us a call.
We can
drill diameters from .125 inches to 1.250 inches and 72
inches deep. If your application is a through hole and
we can drill from both sides, we can drill up to 144
inches deep.
Normal
gundrilling procedures allow for .001/inch drift. But,
on cylindrical work of up to 2.5 inches outside
diameter, with our proprietary method
of gundrilling, we can maintain drift of
.002/foot (.000167/inch) total indicator reading.
We can handle virtually any
size and shape material up to 6,000 lbs. We have a
saying here at J & A, “If we can fit it through the
door, we’ll work on it.”
